Hey all,

After a year spent in OKC I am finally moving to Htown just in town for July 4th celebrations.
I am very excited and cannot wait to come back to the Houston summers, oh yeah!
I actually have no more weekends to be spent in OKC, as for x or y reasons I will be out of town the next 3 weeks.

While I can't say I will miss this place, I can save that it wasn't as bad as I made it sound and I am taking a lot from here, both emotionally and physically.

So, for all of you out there.... I AM BACK IN HTOWN BABY!!!!!

OMG I am back!

Hello all,

After a several month hiatus I decided to go ahead and make a little post.
I turned 25 last week, so yay to me. A lot has happened in the last 5 years and I cannot wait to see what happenes in the coming 5 years.

Work is going well, I was just told that I am changing offices but I don't know where I am going to end up.

Personal life is going well. No serious relationship on the horizon, but having fun while being single.
I saw Spidey-3 this past weekend and it was awesome... this summer will prove to be a great blockbuster season.

Not much else to tell here, just wanted to post!

So I am back from Germany, had an awesome time and sorted out some things that needed to be dealt with. That said, I don't think I will be updating this blog much from now on. The people that I care about are always in touch with me in one way or another, and if I have something to say to someone, I can just as easily email, so... Goodbye interwebs and avid readers, I am sure we will see each other in the future (whenever I Do feel super-dooper bored and feel like making a post)

Well, the time has come... I depart to Germany in less than 12 hours, so this will be my last entry untill I return. I do promise lots of good stories to tell and lots of pictures to share.

Hello all,

This monday I am a little excited as my trip nears!!!
I had an OK weekend, went on a field trip and went to the movies.
Also, i finally broke the 170 lbs mark (168 now) so definetively happy about that.
Beyond that not much to say... Dealing with the new guy at work has been, well, a challenge but no gain from complaining.

So yeah,

Another day, another post.
This past week was ok I guess, I went out with this guy from work with whom I just started carpooling. It was his birthday so we went and had some drinks with his wife and some of their friends…pretty cool people in general I gotta say.
Other than that, really nada. I did my laundry and got some groceries and went to the gym.
Oh I also went to see that movie “Borat” and it was, hmmm, a 7 out of 10; kind of funny but too overplayed by the American media. There is “Borat” everywhere now so I am sure it would have been funnier had I not been bombarded with borat-mania.
This week is going along fairly quickly. Saturday I am supposed to go with the people from class to Lawton, OK; I guess there are some German settlers there and the teacher thought it’d be cool for the class to go, so I think I will give it a go.

Only 10 days till my departure!!!! Yay!!!!!!

Hallo hallo!

My weekend was really boring as I didn’t do anything at all (well outside of going to the gym). That’s right… nothing, nada, zilch! Thank goodness it is Monday and I get to be an active member of society again.

My boss told me today that I am a go for operation Houston, so Houston peeps, prepare for the arrival of “The Supreme Commander of the Universe”. I am very much excited about this and I must say that work scored a couple points there.

Today I met my counterpart (new hire) and well, let’s just say I am gonna keep an open mind. He seems very respectable but I haven’t tapped his knowledge base yet. Older dude, probably late 50’s, ex-retired…more on him later.

And because it is Halloween around here, this is what was in the breakroom today on my floor… yummy huh?

That’s all I got for now, only a couple weeks away from me crossing the “big lake” into the old world.

Yay!
New post from djsopa!

Well these past few weeks have been pretty normal I guess. Went to Tulsa with peeps from Houston for tulsatechfest.com and had a great time hanging out there. Sadly only one picture was posted L. Also went to Denton yet again last weekend and had a good time with the peeps down there.
Other than that nothing much to report here, just the usual.
Dating here is extremely rare, and those of you that know me, know the length of detail that base that claim, mainly the attitude (or lack there of) of the girls here. Weeeeeeeeeeeird is the word I have to use to define it.
My classes are going very well, I scored the highest on my last exam and the professor seems very excited about the group of students that he has. He will be teaching the second course, so I am looking forward to that.

From the work side, I have learnt a lot about dealing with inept people around me and the frustration that that brings. I had a talk with my boss last week and she told me not to “suffer in silence” so I went all out and told her all my frustrations. I will repeat the same event this afternoon with my supervisor.
Also from the work front, I requested permission to work out of the Houston office during x-mas and new year’s so I may be seeing a bunch of old friends, family, and FINALLY meeting my new nephew yay!!!!!

On the emotional level, sigh, this is the bad one for me. Too many emotions going on at once; some days are better, some are not so good. I went sushi eating for the first time last week and I must say I was missing out, yummy.

On the gym arena I keep improving, my goal now is to get rid of the “love-handles” and I think it’s working fine, but I know to be patient and see long term results rather than kill myself with starvation and working out.

I guess that’s pretty much a wrap for now.

YAY!!! I FINALLY got my vacation time approved. I was stressing a bit over this but a quick call this morning and it all went through!
I must say that it did take some *ahem* cojones to book a trip without even getting the time off work, but well, that's just who I am.
What else is new, not much here really; This week is rather slow duw to my superior skills and finishing the project waaaaay early.

So time for another update,

As the trend continues, I have been busy at work for the past 2 months and it isn’t showing signs of a slow down.
I had an awesome time this weekend in Denton with my friends again and the OU vs. UT thing didn’t turn out as bad as I had thought. OU lost so people here are work are just having a pretty standard day, lol. Also people on the radio wouldn’t shut up about how some of the calls were going in favor of UT and this and that, the standard ramblings.
What else, of yeah, it is officially less than 6 weeks before I get to visit Malvin! I am sure you all can tell how excited I am about this.
October is turning out to be a good month. The weather in OKC is beautiful; I mean never had I experience this long stretch of just perfect weather! Ahhhh. This morning was a little chilly but nothing to fear… yet. This weekend Nguyen and Takahata are coming to town and we’ll be driving to Tulsa for some conference and next week my Dentonian friends come into town and I think we’ll be going to Tulsa to check out Oktoberfest festivities over there.
As far as my heart goes, I think I am well. Recovery has been slow but steady and I can say that I am back to being the old me for the most part.
I am not completely happy, but then again, who is? I guess content would fit the mold right about now.

So it is Friday, the end of a long week and a new opportunity to update my blog.
Over the past few weeks my blog suffered a lack of attention from my side due to lots of stress generated by my work. I have been working a lot and that has taken up a lot of my energy.
I have also been studying a lot trying to make good grades at school.
Enough with the official stuff though. I have been getting better in OKC. I still don’t like this town but I try to make it as comfortable as I can. I saw the UH – OSU game last week at some bar downtown and it was awesome. Still no friends in OKC but that doesn’t wake me up at night anymore. I have continued to spend a lot of time in the gym running and lifting some weights and I must say the progress has been satisfactory.
Nothing else much to say really, I guess my life is pretty boring here, but hey, it could be a lot worse.

Weekend recap.

So I left the office Friday around noon. I wasn’t feeling too well and decided to take the afternoon off. I made the drive to Denton, took me the standard 2.5 hours, nothing to it.
Had lunch with Mani @ Applebee’s and man did that place suck, I think I won’t be going there for a long time, no matter how tasty their burger quesadilla looks on TV. Friday afternoon then was just a chillaxin time at the apt.

Friday evening we went out to the 6th street equivalent of Denton, pretty cool I must say with some good drinking specials such as $2.50 Jagger bombs! Believe me when I say we took advantage of it. Around 3am we went to check out downtown Denton and found this coffee place, nice place and very good coffee! I liked it so much we went back the next two nights!

Saturday we went to the Fort Worth zoo with the whole crew. I must say I wasn’t expecting much, but the zoo came out being really nice and with all sorts of animals. It reminded me a little bit of the San Diego zoo. Very nice afternoon in FW that Saturday so walking up and down the zoo was nice. By the time we got home we were spent and decided to not go party.

Sunday Mani and I went to the Texas Rangers vs. Cleveland Indians game. I hot gotten tix for center field seats, and though they were good seats, we decided to move. The tix also came with free starbucks coffee, so we went and got frapuccinos, hmmm, vanilla bean > *. After coffee, we relocated to the section between home and first base and enjoyed the rest of the game, including the 5-run 7th inning by the Rangers. That night we went out to have some beers and play some darts. We ended up going to the coffee house and staying there until like 4am!!!!

Monday we just hung out. We saw “all about the benjamins” DVD and that Mike Epps is one funny guy man! I started to leave around 5pm and though it was raining a little bit, I was making good time until I was 3 miles out of Norman and was stuck for like 1 hour in traffic due to some major accident 2 miles ahead. Finally got home around 9.30pm and that’s it! That was djsopa’s weekend in less than 500 words.

Man o man!

So work has been crazy this week. I didn’t have time to post yesterday!
Yeah that crazy but it’s all good. I’ve been getting a lot of face time with the user community and thus more recognition around here.
I must say this week I haven’t been so strict about my diet, thought I haven’t pigged out or anything, but I want to keep myself in check and do not overeat.
School is going fine; I really like the whole experience. The gym is going great too. I think next week I will start kicking it up a notch and run more than 3 miles and try to work my way to 5 miles… that’s my goal.

This weekend I will be driving down to Denton to visit my friend and I got tix for the Rangers game… hope it turns out exciting, but I know either way I’ll have fun checking out Ameriquest Field.

Weekend recap!

Well here am I am, ready to tackle another week at the old workplace and surviving OKC.
Friday I went down to the University of Oklahoma in Norman. A friend of mine that had interned here during the summer break goes there and so I went to check it out. I must say I was somewhat disappointed because the campus was so small and it was really nothing out of this world. I really don’t understand the infatuation that Oklahomans seem to have towards this school. Anyways, we checked out some bars and it just made me sad and it made me wanna go to Austin’s 6th street. On Friday night I went again to ‘City Walk” and it was more of the same I had experienced last weekend: nice and lots of cool people, though a fight did break out.

Saturday and Sunday I chilled really, nothing too exciting. Saturday I managed to go to the movies and catch “beerfest” and I made it a combo as it was storming outside and watched “Invincible”. Now beerfeest was fun, though there was a lot of white frat looking guys there that almost ruined the movie. Invincible was more on the “meh” side and I was glad I had made it a combo 2x1!

Didn’t take too many pictures this weekend, just a few of my new record weight (177 lbs.?) and a pic of some deliciousness food I made sun afternoon.

Not much to say today as far as my life, just a compilation of my last entries.
I haven’t managed to finish the “Noticia de un secuestro” book. I did manage to finish up Jim Cramer’s book. I guess my reading priorities will be shifting to my college course.

No gym yesterday as I went to class ‘till about 8pm. Gym tonight and then who knows, maybe hit up a happy hour or something.

Hi there,

So yesterday ended fine at work, busy busy like it is becoming the norm around here.
This morning I went to the orthodontist and well, it turns out I will be wearing braces for about 18 months starting the first week of October.
This is what I get for making fun of my friends in Denton! Oh well, it is just 18 months. I will also have to have 4 molars removed eeek! I think I will get that done sometime next week so lots of pain awaits (me thinks)
Today is class 2 at college, really excited to check it out. My book should be getting home sometime next week.

Upon further consideration I have decided to put the procedure on hold. My Dr in colombia said that my teeth will not change and that I should only do the procedure if I had the money and if I saw the need to change the look of my teeth and furthermore my face. I think I am content for now so there, no worries, good old DJSOPA will stay the same (for now)

Hello interwebs,

My post of the day doesn’t have much to tell today.
I had my first class yesterday and it was very weird going back to CC after graduating last year. It was a fun class and I definitively see t he upside of it, but lots of studying lie ahead. For one, my work out schedule will have to be adjusted as I don’t plan on working out after coming home from school. So, Monday and Wednesday = no work out, meaning yes on workout for the other 5 days of the week. Shouldn’t be too bad (I hope).

Hmm, last night was just average, nothing besides school. I made some fish and veggies for dinner and boy it was delicious.

Lots to do at work today, so I will leave this post just this long.

Hello all,
Weekend recap coming up! So Friday was ok, didn’t do much really, just went to the gym and got my rush of endorphins...yum! Saturday was cleaning the apt day. I think I did pretty well at it and I like having it clean, ready for a visit from anyone! I got my shopping done, and this part is a little different than most my shopping trips.

I went to this store called “ALDI” yeah, so I had been there before, in Germany of all places. It was pretty cheap and I had to laugh at the whole shopping cart thingy where you have to put in a quarter to use the cart and you get it back once you return it. Anyways, they didn’t have all I needed so I went to Wal-Mart and finished up there. I got all the basics again as I hadn’t been shopping in like 3 weeks: Milk, fish, chicken, again all the basics for some home cooking.

I decided also sat night to go out and check out bricktown yet again and man, am I happy I did. I parked free at work (like 2 blocks away from the action) and went to this place called “City streets” or something like that. It was huuuuuuuge! They had everything from high class lounges to karaoke bars all within the same place. Truly unique experience I really liked it. The women/men ratio was just ridiculous too as it was like 10 to 1 or something close to that. I had a good time to say the least.

Oh I almost forgot, I had Abuelo’s for lunch and I really like that place! Also, I went to the theater to see “little miss sunshine” but when I got in it was packed so I went to see “snakes on a place’. I laughed my ass off and that’s all I’ve got to say about that.

Sunday was more relax day time than anything. Ran my usual 3 miles and just had a chillaxed time home. Oh I watched this movie “perder es cuestion de meted” and I was very pleased!

Today is back to school for me, I am very very excited not to be driving home after work and the possibility of meeting new people at school today.

That’s all I got for now. I think my late Thursday episode is gone and I am all well again.

Hello Interwebs,

Today I was so tired I didn’t want to come to work. That 2x1 night at the ballpark really got me. Yesterday I fell asleep as soon as I came home and as such I failed to go run, so today is make up time for that.. I’m actually looking forward to it.

Today’s lunch was at Quizno’s and man was it good… I had not been there in a long time and was my actual first time in OKC. Work has been good do far this morning, busy busy so I like it a lot because it keeps my mind off things.

Last night again I woke up at 4ish in the morning, with lots of thoughts in my head. I think I just need a vacation or something or just something else to keep my mind busy.
Monday I start school and hopefully that will help me socially and mentally so looking forward to that. I signed up for one class and it cost me like 390 bucks so not bat at all.

That’s all I can think of for now about what’s up in my life…I kinda wish at times my brain would realize that I am here for the long run and stop thinking about stuff that should be of no concern.

Hello all,

As you probably noticed from my late post last night, I am ready for the weekend.
Work has been craaazy this past 3 days, lots of work getting done actually so not complaining but maybe a little bit.

Last night I went to the baseball game here, class AAA Redhawks and boy did they suck. I knew it too so I only went because they had 2 for 1 on beer and hotdogs, so couldn’t let that pass by… I got a little tipsy and had a good time, I will post pictures later.

Other than that, yesterday had not much to report, so I will leave it at that.

Today has been more of the same, work work work (well I AM at work) so not much time to wonder about things or really think of anything else other than work!

Too much blah going on here, I better go.

Hello all,

I hope everyone had a good weekend, I know I did.
So, the Houston trip was a success I think. I got to see the family, friends, and even found time to go out clubbing and enjoy the company of friends and strangers at the club.
The only “bad” think I can think of is the lack of Astros’ tickets so I couldn’t go to the game L. Oh well, another time it will be.

So Saturday I went with my brother and some friends to this latin chill out place “taco milagro” and man they had some gooooood margaritas up in there!
After that, at about 11pm my brother, his gf and I went to “Tropicana” and we had a blast. I danced my butt off all night and he did the same.

I went to the theater to see that Robin Williams movie and it totally sucked!!
Oh yeah, and flying southwest was a weird experience, I think I'd rather pay up a little more and go for CAL or AA.

Had fun last night with the Houston peeps. Went to this bar "next" and it was asian central, had fun though... I didn't bring my camera so no pics of that.

Today I went with the parents and my brother and his gf to hit up some bubble tea. yummy, they don't have this in OKC.

For tonight, I think i will hit up a latin night club. I will take my camera this time.

Well, here I am in htown.
Getting here was hard enough though thanks to the new FAA regulations for flying. My plane was 3 hours late and it took away from me going out last night.

It's been really cool hanging out with mom and dad, and tonight should be good going out and hitting again the bar/club scene in Houston with my friends.

I feel a little guilty for not hitting the gym this weekend due to me being here, so next week I will get it all out of my system and hit it hardcore. I've been getting lots of compliments (from family, but still) so I am psyched about continuing my gym routine.

I just had some of my momma's cooking and it was finger licking good. This morning I my dad made me some coffee man and it was good.

I'm out for now. I'll try to take pics from tonight.

Well, I thought it wouldn’t happen but it did, I forgot to post yesterday, so I am making up for it today. I guess that’s a good thing though, I was so busy in the office that I didn’t have time to think about posting or mess around online.
From Tuesday’s post to today I have continued to read G.G. marquez’s book and I also read “Rich dad, poor dad”. Interesting read, took me about 2 hours to complete. Yesterday I went to the library and checked out another book by the same author and I also checked out Jim Cramer’s book, should be a funny read.

Today I am ready for my flight to htown, I packed late last night so I am soooo tired this morning, but already psyched about seeing my family and friends, not to mention the Astros.

Well, gotta go now, work awaits.

Good afternoon everyone,

I almost forgot to post today, been really busy at the office, so that’s good, at least is a good reason not to post @ 7am.

Houston plans are coming along nicely as it seems that nguyen has gotten the tickets to see the ‘Stros yay! Pretty big group going and of course pops will be there. Should be a good fun afternoon.

Not much to tell from my house front, gym, cooking everything remains the same. I think I said before I would post some pics so I can track my progress from going to the gym, I think I will do that once I come back from htown.

The afternoon here seems to be scheduled to go rather slow and pack-filled with meetings, so that’s that.

I started reading “Noticia de un secuestro” by G.G.Marquez, a little old but good and I never read it before. I also picked up “rich dad, poor dad” from B&N yesterday, so I will be doing some reading rather than watching TV after I am done with my daily run. Maybe even do said reading around the pool, who knows.

That’s all I got for now. In the coming weeks I would appreciate if anyone had some interesting recommendations on books to keep me entertained.

Greetings everyone,

This morning I am feeling somewhat melancholic. Don’t know why though. I wasn’t yesterday and I wasn’t all weekend long as a matter of fact. This morning however I don’t know, I just don’t feel like being here. I probably should request the day sick and go home.
I have found out that while my way of life continues to improve here in OKC, I still have problems falling asleep. My brain thinks too much of stuff it should not be concerned about, The same goes for waking up in the middle of the night and whenever I wake up in the morning… there’s just too much thinking! I wish I could snap my fingers and make it stop.

So, that’s an encapsulation of what I am feeling this second, now on to whatever I did on the weekend. I went to “Baker St. Pub” on Friday night, didn’t meet anyone and just had 2 Guinness beers. Went home a little happy happy and passed out. Satuday I went to the mall again and bought me some jeans. Size 33 baby! Then I went to see “The ant bully”. It was more of a children movie than anything else. I gotta stop thinking that just because it is an animated film it will be as good as “toy story”. Oh well, “Miami vice” will have to wait its turn. Sunday was clean the house day, I did all the cleaning that was pending and finally finished up the closet… the apt is ready for any visits so, if any of my readers wants to come up (or down).
So that was my weekend, not really exciting at all, but not too boring, more like on the average level.
Again, going to be in htown Thursday night thru Sunday, hope to catch at least one Astros game.

Well well well,

It is Friday and here I am, working.
If you remember I said I would say how I like my new job here by Friday, so here it is. I think I like it fine… could be a lot worse and could be a lot better. Yesterday I made a break-thru that gave me a great sense of satisfaction and a job well done, but today more problems arose, so here I am working on them.

Plans for the weekend? Nill. I think I am content with them though, probably go buy more crap I don’t need, clean the bathroom and vacuum the carpet…oh and finish up the laundry.

As for other aspects of my life, I think things have a funny way of working themselves out. I think this last week was one of the weirdest ones yet, but come Friday I don’t think I have been any better in OKC. Times are good, job is good, friends and family are good, even those that are far away from me.

Yeah yeah, I know by know you are tired of reading, but I CANNOT wait to go visit Malvin, and yesterday I got the crazy idea of maybe asking my brother to join me, I still haven’t told him, but plan on doing so shortly.

My parents are coming up to visit next week, so next weekend I’ll be going down to the armpit of America and enjoying the company of family… oh yeah! That without forgetting to check in with the htown tribe, hope you all get ready for me.

Hello all,

It is a little early for me to post, but well, I got here early and the morning is going kind of slow.
Yesterday I had a very interesting afternoon. After coming back from training I did a little work, and then my ex logged on msn. I hadn’t spoken to her in about 3-4 weeks and I must admit I was a little nervous about what to say or what she would say. Anyways, the conversation grew rapidly from small talk to real conversation. I learned that she has started a new relationship and that well, hurt me a little and helped me a little. It hurts because of all the memories, but I think I am fine with it. People move on and the sooner the better. As far as me goes, well, I think my moving on process is a little longer. I am not trying to rush into finding someone to just spend time with, thought it would be nice, hehe. Anyways, I thought a lot about what we talked and I must say that I think it went well. I wished her all the good things from her newfound love and hope that she is happy in her new job starting pretty soon. So that’s that.

I went to the gym again yesterday, and I must say I felt a little frustrated. i haven’t seen any tangible changed within my physical appearance for the past say 3 weeks, even though I have been to the gym at least 3 times a week. I run and I do some free weights, and most important, I eat healthy… lots of veggies and fish and fruit and tea and whole grain. Frankly I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. This however only makes me want to go to the gym more! Yay! I think I may also join some fitness forums and ask for advice there, but if anyone reading this has something to say, all comments are welcome.

I got nothing else so far today. I may post again before leaving today, so keep checking

(Sigh),

Well, it’d hump day and here I am, writing into nothingness.
I think the whole sense of this being therapeutic is really helping me out. I can vent whatever I want on here and basically no one opposes what I have to say or interrupts me for that matter.

Today work has been brutal and rewarding at the same time. Yesterday I stayed late here finishing up some procedures for a very important task and I knew if I left it would bother me the whole night, so I stayed and finished. This morning I got lots of praising from the user community for turning in the work. Bear in mind that most of this stuff I am learning on my own, man, sometimes I feel like Nguyen and being the work horse.
Today I am taking a career development class, and it is turning out to be quite interesting. It has made me see that the position that I am in is not really my id4eal position, but also that I am willing to put up with it because of the money. I think I am going to stick to this job for a while and in the coming months, as things develop, try to change groups into the development group and test the waters there.

Last night I also got a haircut, and I must say it is the shittiest job, service, haircut I have ever gotten. That lady that did it was just straight hard core white trash and urrrrggg, I still tipped her $2.50. Oh well, it’s just hair and it will grow back, but I know for sure I’m never going back there again (super cuts).

Last night I had a very interesting conversation with an old acquaintance that made me realize, yet again how good my current situation is. It was very thought provoking and eye opening. I am glad I had that talk and hope to take in the advice that was given.

The weekend is looming and I have no plans yet, I think it will end up involving cleaning my bathroom and doing laundry. If it isn’t too hot I will go to the lake and jog there. I also know movies will be involved… too many movies coming out at the same time!!!!!

Bored at work.

I can’t believe that I am saying this, but work today has been really slow. I guess I should not complain and I know better now, but I just can’t believe it. I thought this week would be hectic, but instead it is turning out to be just an average week.

Last night I talked to my friend in FL for like 3 hours! Went through a bunch of topics and just talked like we used to in the olden days.

Also last night I cooked me some tilapia fillets and grilled vegetables, very tasty. Oh oh, and to top it off, I had me some banana shake… all in all, a very good meal, and I got leftovers for today after the gym.
I went to the gym yesterday and almost every time I go there there’s this girl t here. She is kind of average looking, so yesterday after seeing her like 10 times I said “Look, I am tired of coming here every time and seeing you and never talking, so my name is Djsopa” she said “Well, nice to meet you, I’m glad you finally talked!, I’m Emily” I thought it was funny, so I put on my headphones and started my 3 mile run. Maybe I’ll say hello again today at the gym.

Last night I also realized that whenever I get back to my apartment now, it feels like home. It doesn’t feel like some temporary living quarters anymore. It indeed does feel homey and cozy and it is my place. I don’t miss the place at TC Jester anymore; I think my new home is turning out to be quite nice.

I don’t have much else on my mind right now, I guess it is then a good time to finish up my post.

Hey all,

What can I say today, it is Monday.
Well, this weekend was pretty good! I did a lot of hanging out and as you may see from the pics, had some good food as prepared by my friends in Denton.
Last night when I went to bed I realized that I don’t have it too bad here. Though my real friends are far from where I am, they somehow seem to find a way to cheer me up and bring some sense back into me.
I realized also that I don’t have it as bad as I thought. Matter of fact I don’t have it bad at all.
Lonely times will come and go, and I think I am scratching off those times here in OKC.
I must be honest though, I do miss having someone next to me, someone that knows me and understands me, but I also see that there is no rush in achieving this. The right person will come along soon enough.
I am very excited about my Thanksgiving trip to the old continent and to visit Malvin. It is almost guaranteed that it would be one the best weeks ever. Too bad November is so far away and that technically, I don’t have the time off yet. Also too bad that none of the Houston folk joined me in my quest to visit the Malvinator.

Work is going ok I guess, I think I am stressing myself too much over nothing, things always seem to work themselves out and just need a little help from me.

I feel so guilty for not exercising this weekend. I even took my running shoes, but with all the eating there was no time. Time to hit the tread mill today!
I think that’s all I got for now, maybe I will go to the movies and check out that “Miami vice” movie everyone seems to be talking about.

Well itis time to make the drive back to OKC. I have to say I had an awesome weekend.

Hmmm,

Saturday; So i just woke up (12:26pm) and Mani and Brandon are cooking some Koean food, we'll see what kind of stuff they come out of the kitchen with.
Tv is a little boring; that or i think not having so many channels when i'm home has kinda taken me away from being a TV frone.
Yesterday we went to some mall by DFW; It was a Mills style mall (ala Katy Mills), but the only people that were there were 16yr old girls dressed up all slutty.
We played for like 20 mins with at some pet kiosk with some quarter-size turtles and hamsters. pretty funny.

For dinner we went to this place called the Wing PIt and them wings were sooooo good. I swear from now on mo more hooters wings for me.
Haha, last night we also watched "the guru". that's right, "Chori chori, um se gori, pyan garengue!" or however it goes.

That's it for now. i think tonight i am gonna drag my friends to bar and grab a beer. Tomorrow it's back to OKC

Hello all,

Well, after all I am online on a non-work day, woo hoo!!!
I came to visit my friend in Denton, about 2.5 hours away from OKC so it was an interesting drive to do as a spur of the moment thing. I left OKC at about 8pm and got here at like 10.30pm.

Work was ok on thursday, it looks like next week will be very stressful, i will let you know next friday how i like it (or not).

Last night my friend cooked BBQ chicken (in your face Thomas and Vik) and it was awesome man. Some good food. Today i had beef kebobs for lunch, man this boy can cook!

I have no idea what the plan is for today or the rest of the weekends that is, i am just glad to be hangin out with some good friends and laughing like crazy. Kinda reminds me of Toronto times.

Anyways, not much more to say for now.

Hello all,

Today's post will talk about yesterday's activities.

Work is getting a little stressful, since one of my coworkers has quit and I am assuming his role, meaning lots and lots of information coming in at one time. I will let you know how the transition goes once monday rolls by.

I had subway for lunch, 6'' honey oat cheese steak w/ jalapenos. hmm hmm good (sorry, that's quizno's line). Once I got home i went to the gym and ran 3 miles in like 40 mins, i know sucky time but whatever.

Then it was time for "America's got talent" what a piece of Sh*t show, so out with that and in with "Hostel" DVD. I found it very entertaining... lots of nakedness :)... oh yeah, before that i cooked me some meet and vegetables.

After Hostel and its documentaries or whatever i watched a little bit of Leno, kinda lame last night, and then off to bed.

For some weird reason all this week i have been waking up @ 5:28am. my alarm is set up for 6am but this morning, again 5:28. so i went back to sleep and woke up at 6, didn't shave, and grabbed the first shirt I found to go to work, so today's is not my best look.

Soooo tired this morning.

Oh oh and i forgot, last night i realized that it was the first night since my move to OKC that i didn't cry! could you belive it? well, i guess better times are coming, i will keep you updated on that.

Next entry will be on monday i think, since i still have no internet at home.

my life, as much as I can without jeopardizing my career or well being.

I completed my move to OKC on June 15th, 2006, so I have been in this town for about a little more than a month and it has been a real challenge.
Living in Oklahoma City is very laid back, and I hold no grudges against the city itself, but I cannot say that I am happy.
Sure, the job that I took here pays well, and it took me out of Houston, which I think has done me a great deal of good, but it also took me away from my support group (family and friends) and from things that I was used to.

I guess I am lonelier than I thought I could be.
I miss “her” very much still. Some days I just feel like saying “screw you, I don’t need you in my heart”, but then reality sets in, and the reality of the situation is that she is still a big part of who I am and I big part of who I want to become.

On another note, if you happen to read this and are in the Oklahoma City area, don’t doubt in contacting me, I am very sociable and always welcome new friendships.

Well, I think that’s all for today. It is lunch hour and don’t want to spend it all in this rant.
